Morning Business for 1 hour with 10 minute limitations. The Majority will control the first 30 minutes. The Republicans will control the second 30 minutes.
Following Morning Business, the Senate will resume consideration of the motion to proceed to H.R.1256, the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, post-cloture. If we need to use the entire 30 hours of post-cloture debate, the Senate would proceed to the bill around 5:30pm. Once we’re on the bill, Senator Dodd will offer the substitute amendment and the bill will be open to further amendments.
