Washington, DC—Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid released the following statement this afternoon following his White House meeting with President Obama:

“We return to Washington re-energized and committed to fixing our broken health insurance system with legislation that will lower costs, improve quality and ensure choice.  We had a very productive meeting with the President today.  He has a clear vision of what he wants to see in a Congressional health care proposal and we look forward to his address to Congress tomorrow evening, where he will lay that out in greater detail.”
