Schedule for Thursday, May 16, 2013

The Senate stands in adjournment until 11:00am on Thursday, May 16, 2013. Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider Executive Calendar #91, the nomination of Ernest J. Moniz, of Massachusetts, to be Secretary of Energy with up to 3 hours of debate equally divided and controlled between Senators Wyden and Murkowski or their designees.

Upon the use or yielding back of time (at approximately 2:00pm), there will be a roll call vote on confirmation of the Moniz nomination.

During Wednesday’s session of the Senate, the Senate reached an agreement that on Monday, May 20th, at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader, after consultation with the Republican Leader, the Senate proceed to the consideration of Calendar #73, S.954, the Farm bill.
