<p><strong>Washington, D.C</strong>. – Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid <a href="https://twitter.com/SenatorReid">announced this morning</a> that he will join John Podesta, Chair and Counselor at the Center for American Progress, for a Twitter Town Hall on Wednesday, July 25<sup>th</sup>, in advance of the upcoming <a href="http://www.cvent.com/events/national-clean-energy-summit-5-0-the-power-of-choice/event-summary-2d84fa8e99ab4dc1bd4dc441fae9b8aa.aspx">National Clean Energy Summit 5.0</a> (NCES) in Las Vegas next month.</p>
<p>The Twitter Town Hall will give participants from Nevada and across the country an opportunity to send their questions about clean energy issues directly to Senator Reid. To ask a question, via Twitter, users should simply tweet their message of fewer than 140 characters to @SenatorReid, followed by the hashtag <strong>#AskReidNCES</strong>.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Washington – </strong>En reconocimiento del Mes de la Herencia Hispana, el Senador Tom Udall (D-NM) <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/SenatorTomUdall/status/119126263951671296"><strong>“tw</strong><strong>i</strong><strong>t</strong><strong>ió</strong><strong>”</strong></a> que participará en una “conversación vía Twitter”, sobre la generación de empleos y oportunidades económicas en las comunidades hispanas, el 5 de octubre a las 2:30 pm EDT.</p>
<p>El Sen. Udall realizará esta conversación auspiciada por Univisión, el Center for American Progress, y LATISM, la mayor organización de profesionales hispanos dedicados a las redes sociales de comunicación. Udall responderá preguntas por medio de Twitter y discutirá cómo las comunidades hispanas se beneficiarán de las políticas para crear empleos y ayudar a las pequeñas empresas.</p>
<p>Los usuarios de Twitter pueden enviar sus preguntas en cualquier momento entre ahora y el 5 de octubre. Para enviar una pregunta, simplemente envíe un mensaje de menos de 140 caracteres que incluya el “hashtag” <a href="https://twitter.com/#!/search/realtime/%23HHMChat">#HHMChat</a> &#8211; para el chat del Mes de la Herencia Hispana. Durante la &#8220;conversación de Twitter,&#8221; Udall y colaboradores del Center for American Progress, LATISM y Univisión contestarán una selección de preguntas postuladas por el público.</p>

				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><strong>Washington, D.C. –</strong> Nevada Senator Harry Reid <a href="http://twitter.com/#!/SenatorReid/status/111431854271365120">announced this morning</a> on Twitter that he will hold his first Twitter Town Hall to discuss how Democrats are working to create jobs and get our economy moving. The half-hour forum will take place on September 14 at 4:00 p.m. EST.</p>
<p>The Twitter Town Hall will give Americans an opportunity to send their questions about job-creation measures directly to Senator Reid. To send a question, Twitter users simply Tweet a message of fewer than 140 characters that includes the hashtag #AskReidTH. Twitter users can Tweet questions any time between now and the Town Hall.</p>
<p>During the town hall on September 14th, Senator Reid will answer a selection of Tweeted questions.  His responses will be posted on Twitter and streamed live over the Internet.</p>
<p>This town hall is a continuation of Democrats&#8217; efforts to use new media to engage Americans on the critical issues facing our country, and hear their ideas for how to move our country forward.</p>
