Schedule for Tuesday, January 26, 2016

At 10:00am on Friday, January 22, the Senate convened for a pro forma session and adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, January 26, 2016.

Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business until 11:00am.

Following morning business, the Senate will begin consideration of S.2012, Energy Policy Modernization Act of 2015, with debate only until 3:00pm. We expect to recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly party caucus meetings. At 2:15pm on Tuesday, January 26, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider Executive Calendar #306, the nomination of John Michael Vazquez, of New Jersey, to be United States District Judge for the District of New Jersey. There will be 15 minutes for debate equally divided prior to a vote on confirmation of the nomination.
