Roll Call Vote on motion to proceed to Executive Session (Price/HHS)
3:46pm The Senate began a 15 minute roll call vote on the motion to proceed to Executive Session to consider Thomas Price to be Secretary of Health and Human Services (for the purpose of filing cloture).

Once in Executive Session, Senator McConnell filed cloture on the nomination of Thomas Price to be Secretary of Health and Human Services. Cloture has already been filed on the DeVos (Education) and Sessions (Attorney General) nominations. The cloture motion with respect to the Price nomination will ripen upon disposition of the Sessions nomination.
