The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Thursday, February 9, 2017.
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will enter Executive Session and resume consideration of the nomination of Thomas Price to be Secretary of Health and Human Services, post-cloture. If all time is used, the vote on confirmation of the nomination will be at approximately 1:45am on Friday, February 10th.
At 2:00pm, the Chair will lay before the Senate a Certificate of Appointment for the State of Alabama.
As a reminder, cloture has also been filed on the nomination of Steven Mnuchin to be Secretary of the Treasury. That cloture motion will ripen upon disposition of Price nomination and the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture.
