Agreement to vote on Cabinet Nominations; 2 votes on Monday; 1 vote on Tuesday

The Senate has reached an agreement that on Monday, February 13, there be 7 hours of debate remaining on the Mnuchin nomination and that following disposition of the Mnuchin nomination, the Senate proceed to the consideration of the following nomination:

Executive Calendar #17, David Shulkin, to be Secretary of Veterans Affairs;

That there be 10 minutes of debate equally divided, and upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate vote on confirmation of the nomination.

The Senate also reached an agreement that on Tuesday, February 14, the Senate proceed to the consideration of the following nomination:

Executive Calendar #10, Linda McMahon, to be Administrator of the Small Business Administration;

That the time until 11:00am be equally divided, and upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate vote on confirmation of the nomination.

Additional roll call votes on Tuesday are possible.

  1. Confirmation of Steven Mnuchin to be Secretary of the Treasury
  2. Confirmation of David Shulkin to be Secretary of Veterans Affairs
