Agreement to consider Kayatta nomination--2:30pm vote on confirmation
The Senate has reached an agreement to consider Executive Calendar #8, the nomination of William J. Kayatta, of Maine, to be United States Circuit Judge for the First Circuit.
At 2:00pm, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and debate the nomination for up to 30 minutes, with the time equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders or their designees. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will proceed to vote on confirmation of the nomination.
Senators should expect the vote to begin around 2:30pm today.
