Agreement on S.524, CARA
On Wednesday, March 2, following Leader remarks, the Senate will begin consideration of Calendar #369, S.524, Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act; that the committee-reported substitute amendment be withdrawn and Senator Grassley or his designee be recognized to offer a substitute amendment #3378, and that the first three 1st degree amendments in order be the following:
SA #3362 - Feinstein/Grassley (DOJ)
SA #3345 - Shaheen (Appropriations)
SA #3367 - Toomey (Medicare)
And that Senator Grassley, or his designee, be permitted to offer a side-by-side amendment to the Shaheen amendment and that Senator Leahy, or his designee, be permitted to offer a side-by-side amendment to the Toomey amendment.
