S. 524, CARA

The Senate has begun consideration of S.524, Comprehensive Addition Recovery Act (CARA). The committee-reported substitute was withdrawn and Senator Grassley offered Grassley-Leahy amendment #3378 (substitute) and Feinstein-Grassley amendment #3362 (DOJ). We expect Senators Shaheen and Toomey to call up their amendments today, as provided for under the previous order.
