Schedule for Monday, March 7, 2016

The Senate stands adjourned until 3:00pm on Monday, March 7, 2016.

Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business until 4:00pm with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.

At 4:00pm, the Senate will resume consideration of S.524, Comprehensive Addiction and Recovery Act.

At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Grassley-Leahy amendment #3378 (substitute) to S.524.

As a reminder, during today's session Senator McConnell filed cloture on both the Grassley-Leahy substitute amendment and on the underlying bill.

The filing deadline for 1st degree amendments to the substitute amendment and the bill is 3:30pm on Monday. Amendments must be germane and timely filed to be considered in order if cloture is invoked.
