Paul motion to discharge S.J.Res.31, F-16 sale to Pakistan

At approximately 1:25pm, Senator Paul moved to discharge the Foreign Relations Committee from further consideration of S.J.Res.31, relating to the disapproval of the proposed foreign military sale to the Government of Pakistan. There will now be up to 1 hour of debate. Following the remarks of Senator Paul and if there is no further debate, we expect Senator McConnell to yield back the remaining time and move to table the Paul motion to discharge. The vote could begin in the 1:40pm range, but that depends on how long Senator Paul speaks.
