Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business until 4:00pm, with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.
At 4:00pm, the Senate will enter Executive Session to consider the nomination of Executive Calendar #476, John B. King, of New York, to be Secretary of Education. There will be 90 minutes of debate equally divided prior to a roll call vote on confirmation of the nomination.
