2nd degree filing deadline - 10:45am, Wednesday 3/16

As a reminder, during yesterday's session Senator McConnell moved to concur in the House amendment (Defund Planned Parenthood Act of 2015) to S.764 (National Sea Grant College Program Amendments Act of 2015), with an amendment, which is McConnell for Roberts amendment #3450 (GMO labeling). Senator McConnell filed cloture on the motion to concur with amendment. He then moved to refer S.764 to the Commerce Committee.

The cloture vote will occur at 11:45am tomorrow, Wednesday, March 16.

If cloture is invoked, the filing deadline for second degree amendments to the substitute is 10:45am tomorrow, Wednesday. All second degree amendments to the substitute must be germane and timely filed to be considered in order post-cloture. If your senator has an amendment, please send a signed copy to the cloakroom prior to the deadline so that we may file it at the desk for you. If you have already filed there is no need to re-file.
