Treaty amendment filing deadlines; 5:30pm roll call vote reminder
The Senate has resumed consideration of Executive Calendar #1, Treaty 114-12, Protocol to the North Atlantic Treaty of 1949 on the Accession of Montenegro. Senator McConnell then filled the treaty amendment tree. The filing deadline for first degree amendments to the treaty is 3:30pm. The filing deadline for second degree amendments is one hour prior to the cloture vote, if cloture is invoked.
At 5:30pm, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the Montenegro treaty. Upon the use or yielding back of post-cloture time, the Senate will dispose of pending amendments and vote on ratification of the treaty.
