Senate Floor Schedule for Monday, March 31, 2014

The Senate stands adjourned until 2:00pm on Monday, March 31, 2014. Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to the consideration of H.R.4302, the Protecting Access to Medicare Act of 2014 with the time until 5:00pm equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders or their designees.

At 5:00pm, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider Executive Calendar #573, John Owens to be US Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit with the time until 5:30pm equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders or their designees.

At 5:30pm, there will be at least 2 roll call votes (3 expected):

-        Confirmation of Executive Calendar #573, John Owens, of CA, to be US Circuit Judge for the Ninth Circuit,

-        Expected motion to waive the Budget Act with respect to H.R.4302 (60-vote threshold),

-        Passage of H.R.4302 (60-vote threshold), and

-        Motion to proceed to H.R.3979, the legislative vehicle for the Unemployment Insurance extension (possible voice vote).
