Agreement on Taylor, Brothers, and Childress nominations

Following the vote on H.R.3979 (UI) tonight, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and proceed to vote on confirmation of the nominations listed below. There will be two minutes for debate equally divided between the two Leaders or their designees, prior to each vote. We expect the nominations to be confirmed by voice vote.

-          Executive Calendar #688 Francis Xavier Taylor, of Maryland, to be Under Secretary for Intelligence and Analysis, Department of Homeland Security;

-          Executive Calendar #706 L. Reginald Brothers, Jr., of Massachusetts, to be Under Secretary for Science and Technology, Department of Homeland Security; and

-          Executive Calendar #549 Mark Bradley Childress, of Virginia, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States of America to the United Republic of Tanzania.
