Agreement on Deyo and Chaudhuri nominations

The Senate has reached an agreement to vote on confirmation of the Deyo (Under Secretary for Management, DHS) and Chaudhuri (Indian Gaming Commission) nominations at 2:00pm on Thursday, April 16. We expect a roll call vote on Deyo and a voice vote on Chaudhuri.

  1. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #1, Russell Deyo, of New Jersey, to be Under Secretary for Management, Department of Homeland Security (roll call vote expected)
  2. Confirmation of Executive Calendar #51, Jonodev Osceola Chaudhuri, of Arizona, to be Chairman of the National Indian Gaming Commission (voice vote expected)
