Agreement on Hanks nomination--5:30pm vote Monday

The Senate has reached an agreement to consider the Executive Calendar #24, the nomination of George C. Hanks, Jr., of Texas, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of Texas. At 5:00pm on Monday, April 20, the Senate will proceed to the nomination. There will be 30 minutes for debate equally divided. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination. The vote is expected to occur at 5:30pm.
