The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am on Wednesday, April 22, 2015.
Prior to adjourning, the Senate reached an agreement to complete action on S.178, Justice for Victims of Human Trafficking Act of 2015. On Wednesday, following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.178. Senator Cornyn will be recognized to withdraw the pending Cornyn amendment and offer amendments #1124 and #301. There will then be 1 hour for debate, equally divided in the usual form, and upon the use or yielding back of time-approximately 10:40am-the Senate will vote on the Leahy amendment #301, followed by a vote on Cornyn-Murray-Klobuchar amendment #1124. If the amendment is agreed to, the time until 2:00pm will be equally divided and the Senate will then vote on adoption of the following amendments, each subject to a 60 vote affirmative threshold for adoption:

Prior to adjourning, Senator McConnell filed cloture on the nomination of Loretta Lynch to be Attorney General of the United States. By the rules, that cloture vote will occur 1 hour after the Senate convenes on Thursday. The hope is that her confirmation vote will also take place on Thursday.
