Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R.2028, Energy and Water Appropriations bill, with the time until 11:00am equally divided. At 11:00am there will be 3 roll call votes on amendments to H.R.2028.
The Senate will recess from 12:30pm until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.
As a reminder, this evening Senator McConnell filed cloture on substitute amendment #3801 and the underlying bill, H.R.2028, Energy and Water Appropriations. Unless an agreement is reached, the cloture vote on the substitute amendment will occur one hour after the Senate convenes on Wednesday, April 27.
The filing deadline for 1st degree amendments to the substitute and underlying bill is 2:30pm tomorrow, Tuesday, April 26. The filing deadline for 2nd degree amendments would be one hour prior to the cloture vote Wednesday, if cloture is invoked. If cloture is invoked, amendments must be germane and timely filed to be considered in order post cloture.
