Senate Floor Schedule for Tuesday, April 29, 2014

The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Following the prayer and pledge, the Senate will be in morning business until 11:00am with the Majority controlling the first half and the Republicans controlling the final half.

At 11:00am, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and proceed to 6 roll call votes in relation to the following:

-        Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #585, Sheryl H. Lipman, of TN, to be U.S. District Judge for the Western District of Tennessee;

-        Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #586, Stanley Allen Bastian, of WA, to be U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of Washington;

-        Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #587, Manish S. Shah, of IL, to be U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of Illinois;

-        Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #588, Daniel D. Crabtree, of KS, to be U.S. District Judge for the District of Kansas;

-        Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #589, Cynthia Ann Bashant, CA, to be U.S. District Judge for the Southern District of California; and

-        Motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #590, Jon David Levy, of ME, to be U.S. District Judge for the District of Maine.

There will be two minutes of prior to each vote and all after the first vote will be 10 minutes in duration.

If cloture is invoked on any of the nominations, all post cloture time will be yielded back, the Senate will resume Legislative Session and the confirmation votes will occur at a time to be determined by the Majority Leader, after consultation with the Republican Leader on Wednesday, April 30th.

The Senate will recess following the votes until 2:15pm to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

The Majority will control the time from 2:15pm until 3:30pm and the Republicans will control the time from 3:30pm until 4:45pm.
