The Senate stands adjourned until 12:00 noon on Friday, May 5, for a pro forma session only with no business conducted.
When the Senate adjourns on Friday, it will next convene at 2:00pm on Monday, May 8, 2017.
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of the nomination of Heather Wilson to be Secretary of the Air Force, with up to 4 hours of debate equally divided. Upon the use or yielding back of time, the Senate will vote on confirmation of the nomination.
Following disposition of the Wilson nomination, the Senate will immediately vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #53, the nomination of Scott Gottlieb, of Connecticut, to be Commissioner of Food and Drugs, Department of Health and Human Services.
