Objection to Vitter's request to modify his amendment
Senator Vitter asked unanimous consent that when the Senate resumes consideration of H.R.1191 (Iran), he be allowed to further modify his pending amendment #1186 (verification system).
Senator Cardin objected.
In his statement, Senator Vitter said he would object to a managers package of otherwise agreed upon amendments unless he gets a vote on his amendment.
