We are told that if we are able to proceed to the bill, the Republicans would offer Hatch amendment #1221, which is a substitute amendment that includes the text of the TPA and TAA bills, which are S.995, Bipartisan Congressional Trade Priorities and Accountability Act of 2015, and S.1268, to extend the trade adjustment assistance program. The substitute amendment would not include the other two trade related bills also reported out of the Finance Committee, which are S.1267, African Growth and Opportunity Act (AGOA) or S.1269, Customs Enforcement.
