- Confirmation of Executive Calendar #650, Roy K. J. (Jay) Williams, of Ohio, to be Assistant Secretary of Commerce for Economic Development; and
- Confirmation of Executive Calendar #539, Carlos Roberto Moreno, of California, to be Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Belize.
