Cornyn objects to Zika consent

Senator Murray asked unanimous consent that when the Senate receives from the House H.R.5243, that all after the enacting clause be stricken; that the Blunt-Murray substitute amendment to provide $1.1 billion in funding to enhance the Federal response and preparedness with respect to the Zika virus, be agreed to; that there be 1 hour of debate equally divided, and that upon the use or yielding back of time, the bill, as amended, be read a third time and the Senate vote on passage of the bill, as amended.

Senator Cornyn objected.
