Senate adopts MTP to H.J.Res.88

By voice vote, the Senate has adopted the motion to proceed to H.J.Res.88, disapproving the rule submitted by the Department of Labor relating to the definition of the term "Fiduciary". Under the rule, there will now be up to 10 hours of debate equally divided prior to a vote on adoption of the joint resolution.

Another message will be sent when the vote is set.

It's also possible that the Senate considers S.J.Res.28, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Secretary of Agriculture relating to inspection of fish of the order Siluriformes (catfish).
