The Senate has resumed consideration of S.J.Res.28, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Secretary of Agriculture relating to inspection of fish of the order Siluriformes (catfish).
At 11:00am all time will be considered expired and the Senate will vote on passage of the joint resolution.
As a reminder, on Monday Senator McConnell moved to proceed to Calendar #469, S.2943, the National Defense Authorization Act, and filed cloture on the motion. Upon disposition of S.J.Res.28, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on NDAA.
