Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.J.Res.28, a joint resolution providing for congressional disapproval under chapter 8 of title 5, United States Code, of the rule submitted by the Secretary of Agriculture relating to inspection of fish of the order Siluriformes (catfish).
The time until 11:00am will be equally divided between proponents and opponents of the resolution - with Senator Shaheen controlling 10 minutes of proponent time - followed by a roll call vote on adoption.
As a reminder, on Monday Senator McConnell moved to proceed to Calendar #469, S.2943, the National Defense Authorization Act, and filed cloture on the motion. Upon disposition of S.J.Res.28, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on NDAA.
