Republicans object to McWatters confirmation vote
Senator Heitkamp asked unanimous consent that the Senate proceed to Executive Session and the Banking Committee be discharged from further consideration of:
PN 1053, the nomination of John Mark McWatters, of Texas, to be a Member of the Board of Directors of the Export-Import Bank of the United States;
that the Senate proceed to its consideration and vote without intervening action or debate.
Senator Shelby objected.
