Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of S.2943, the National Defense Authorization Act.
At 11:15am, the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Reed amendment #4549 (non-defense increase) to McCain amendment #4229 (OCO increase) to S.2943, NDAA. If cloture is not invoked, the Senate will immediately vote on McCain amendment #4229.
The filing deadline for 2nd degree amendments to McCain amendment #4229 is one hour prior to the cloture vote.
As a reminder, this evening Senator McConnell filed cloture on the underlying bill, S.2943, the National Defense Authorization Act.
Unless an agreement is reached, that cloture vote will be one hour after the Senate convenes on Friday, June 10.
The filing deadline for first degree amendments to S.2943 is 1:00pm Thursday, June 9.
