Senate Floor Schedule For Thursday, June 11, 2009
- Morning Business until 2:00pm. The first hour will be equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their designees. The Republicans will control the first 30 minutes and the Majority will control the next 30 minutes.
- Following morning business, the Senate will resume consideration of HR1256, the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, with the time until 2:30pm equally divided and controlled between Senators Dodd and Enzi or their designees.
- Senator Reid moved to proceed to S.1023 and filed cloture on the motion. That cloture vote is expected to begin around 12:00 o'clock Tuesday. There will be no further roll call votes today.
- The Senate is in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak for up to 10 minutes each.
