Kramer nomination confirmed/NDAA status
By voice vote, the Senate confirmed Executive Calendar #145, the nomination of Douglas J. Kramer, of Kansas, to be Deputy Administrator of the Small Business Administration.
The Senate is in a period of morning business until approximately 11:35am. Following morning business, we will resume consideration H.R.1735, NDAA.
Yesterday, Senator McConnell filed cloture on the McCain for Burr amendment #1569, as modified (cyber-security and background checks for DoD schools).
As reminder, the filing deadline for second degree amendments to the Burr amendment #1569, as modified, is one hour prior to the cloture vote.
Another message will be sent when the cloture vote or any other vote is scheduled.
