Schedule for Tuesday, June 16, 2015

The Senate stands adjourned until 10:00am on Tuesday, June 16, 2015.

Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will resume consideration of H.R.1735, NDAA, with the time until 11:30am equally divided. At 11:30am, the Senate will vote in relation to the McCain-Feinstein amendment #1889 (torture).

The filing deadline for all second degree amendments to H.R.1735 and the McCain substitute amendment, is set for 12:15pm.

The Senate will recess from 12:30 until 2:15 to allow for the weekly caucus meetings.

At 2:15pm, the Senate will vote in relation to the Ernst amendment #1549 (arming the Kurds) and Gillibrand amendment #1578 (sexual assault in the military) and on the motion to invoke cloture on the McCain substitute amendment #1463 to H.R.1735.

11:30am - 1 roll call vote expected:

  1. McCain-Feinstein amendment #1889 (torture)
2:15pm - 3 roll call votes expected:
  1. Ernst amendment #1549 (Arming the Kurds);
  2. Gillibrand amendment #1578 (sexual assault in the military);
  3. Cloture on the McCain substitute amendment #1463 to H.R.1735, NDAA
