Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will be in a period of morning business for 1 hour, with Democrats controlling the first half and Republicans controlling the final half. Following morning business, the Senate will resume consideration of the McCain substitute amendment #1463 to H.R.1735, NDAA, post-cloture.
During Tuesday's session of the Senate, Senator McConnell moved to proceed to H.R.2685, Department of Defense Appropriations, and filed cloture on the motion. Upon disposition of the NDAA bill, the Senate would then vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to H.R.2685, Department of Defense Appropriations.
