McConnell files cloture on nomination of Kristine Svinicki for Nuclear Regulatory Commission
This evening Senator McConnell filed cloture on Executive Calendar #115, the nomination of Kristine Svinicki, of Virginia, to be a Member of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission. As a reminder, cloture has already been filed on the below nominations, and the cloture motion with respect to the Svinicki nomination will ripen upon disposition of the Billingslea nomination:
- Executive Calendar #94, Sigal Mandelker, of New York, to be Under Secretary for Terrorism and Financial Crimes.
- Executive Calendar #97, Marshall Billingslea, of Virginia, to be Assistant Secretary for Terrorist Financing, Department of the Treasury.
