Debate only until 2:30pm

The Senate has resumed consideration of S.744, the Comprehensive Immigration Reform bill. The time until 2:30pm is for debate only, with the time equally divided and controlled between the two Leaders, or their designees, and with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each. Senator Sessions will control up to 2 hours.

We are working on a couple unresolved issues to a border security amendment. We hope we can resolve those issues quickly so that we are able to find a path forward on the bill.
