Legislative Business

Adopted S.Res.507, designating July 8, 2016 as Collector Car Appreciation Day and recognizing that the collection and restoration of historic and classic cars is an important part of preserving the technological achievements and cultural heritage of the United States.

Passed by voice vote S.2736, Patient Access to Durable Medical Equipment, with Thune amendment.

Passed H.R. 1777, to amend the Act of August 25, 1958, commonly known as "Former Presidents Act of 1958," with respect to the monetary allowance payable to a former President, and for other purposes with an Ernst substitute amendment.

Executive Business

As a reminder, this evening the Senate reached an agreement that at a time to be determined by the Republican Leader in consultation with the Democratic Leader, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session to consider individually the following nominations:

Executive Calendar #357, Brian R Martinotti, US District Judge for New Jersey;

Executive Calendar #358, Robert F Rossiter, US District Judge for Nebraska;

that there be 30 minutes of debate equally divided on each nomination followed by a roll call vote on confirmation of the nominations.
