Senate Floor Schedule For Monday, June 22, 2009
- Morning Business for 1 hour with senators permitted to speak for up to 10 minutes each. Following Morning Business, the Senate will resume consideration of cal. #71, S.1023, the Travel Promotion Act of 2009. The filing deadline for 1st degree amendments is 3:30pm Monday. The time from 4:30 until 5:30pm will be equally divided and controlled between the two leaders or their designees. The cloture vote on the Dorgan amendment #1347 will occur at 5:30pm.
- The Majority Leader filed cloture on the nomination of Harold Hongju Koh to be Legal Advisor of the Department of State. There will be no further roll call votes during Monday's session of the Senate.
- The Senate is in a period of morning business with senators permitted to speak for up to 10 minutes each.
