Cloture filed on Bay and LaFleur nominations (FERC) and Agreement to vote on Tuesday, July 15
During Wednesday's session of the Senate, Senator Reid filed cloture on the following 2 FERC nominations:
- Executive Calendar #839 Norman C. Bay, of New Mexico, to be a Member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for the term expiring June 30, 2018
- Executive Calendar #842 Cheryl A. LaFleur, Massachusetts, to be a Member of the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission for the term expiring June 30
The Senate then reached an agreement that the cloture votes on the nominations will occur at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 and the confirmation votes will occur at 3:00pm on Tuesday.
