Schedule for Wednesday, July 12, 2017

Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #116, David C. Nye, of Idaho, to be United States District Judge for the District of Idaho. All post-cloture time will be expired and the Senate will vote on confirmation of the Nye nomination. Immediately upon disposition of the Nye nomination, there will be a vote on the motion to invoke cloture on Executive Calendar #104, William Francis Hagerty IV, of Tennessee, to be Ambassador to Japan.

If cloture is invoked on the Hagerty nomination, there would be up to 30 hours of debate prior to a vote on confirmation, with the time counting as if having been invoked at 1:00am. A vote on confirmation is expected during Thursday's session.
