The Senate stands adjourned until 9:30am on Wednesday, July 19, 2017.
Following any Leader remarks, the Senate will proceed to Executive Session and resume consideration of Executive Calendar #170, John Kenneth Bush, of Kentucky, to be United States Circuit Judge for the Sixth Circuit. Cloture has been filed on the Bush nomination and the motion will ripen one hour after the Senate convenes, approximately 10:30am, and the Senate will vote on the motion to invoke cloture.
As a reminder, cloture has also been filed on Executive Calendar #100, David Bernhardt, of Virginia, to be Deputy Secretary of the Interior. The cloture motion will ripen immediately upon disposition of the Bush nomination.
