Senate Floor Schedule For Wednesday, July 23, 2008

  • Resume motion to proceed to S.3268, Energy Speculation, post cloture.
  • The motion to proceed to the Energy Speculation bill was agreed to. Senator Reid filled the tree and filed cloture on the bill.
  • Senator Reid then filed cloture on the House Message with respect to HR3221, Housing Reform. He then filed cloture on the motion to concur.
  • Senator Reid then moved to proceed to S.3186, LIHEAP, and filed cloture on the motion to proceed.
  • There will be no roll call votes during today's session.
  • The Senate stands in recess until 9:30am on Thursday.
