Lee appealing the ruling of the chair

Senator Lee tried to call up amendment #2282 (defund Planned Parenthood). Senator Boxer objected and the chair ruled that the amendment is not in order. Senator Lee appealed the ruling of the chair, asked for the yeas and nays on the appeal. There was not a sufficient second and the Senate voted on the appeal by a voice vote. The ruling of the chair was sustained.

No further roll call votes are expected today.
