Agreement on Power nomination--cloture withdrawn

Senator Reid withdrew the cloture motion on Executive Calendar #220, the nomination of Samantha Power, of Massachusetts, to be the Representative of the United States of America to the United Nations. At a time to be determined, there will be up to 2 hours for debate equally divided prior to a vote on confirmation of the Power nomination. We expect to execute this order on Wednesday, July 31.
