Monday, September 9th's votes--Caproni and Broderick
On Monday, September 9, 2013, at 5:00 pm, the Senate proceed to Executive Session to consider the following nominations:
- Executive Calendar #184, the nomination of Valerie E. Caproni, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York; and
- Executive Calendar #185, the nomination of Vernon S. Broderick, of New York, to be United States District Judge for the Southern District of New York.
There will be 30 minutes for debate equally divided in the usual form prior to a votes on confirmation of the nominations. We hope to confirm one of the nominations by voice vote. Senators should expect at least 1 roll call vote at 5:30pm on Monday, September 9.
