Morning Business until 11:00am

The Senate is in a period of morning business until 11:00am for debate only with senators permitted to speak therein for up to 10 minutes each.  Following morning business, we expect Senator McConnell to make a motion to refer H.R.601 (emergency supplemental, CR and debt limit) with instructions. The instructions would be a Paul pay-for amendment.

The Senate adopted S.Res.243, expressing the senate of the Senate that Joseph Leon George should be honored for heroism at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, on December 7, 1941.
