1 roll call vote expected around 2pm (re: Paycheck Fairness Act)

The Senate continues to debate the motion to proceed to S.J.Res.19, Constitutional amendment regarding campaign finance. At 2pm, we expect to adopt the motion to proceed by voice vote. Senator Reid then plans to offer a series of amendments and file cloture on the joint resolution.

We will then shift gears to reconsider the previously failed cloture vote on the motion to proceed to the Paycheck Fairness bill. In order to do that, there are 2 procedural motions that we plan to adopt with voice votes. Then we would proceed to a roll call vote on the motion to invoke cloture on the motion to proceed to S.2199, the Paycheck Fairness Act, upon reconsideration. Senators should expect one roll call vote to begin shortly after 2pm.
